Methods for Changing the Type of Chart in MT4 (Mac)

In MT4 charts, you can display three types of charts: candlestick, bar, and line. This article explains how to switch between these chart types.

How to Change the Chart Type

There are several ways to change the chart type. Here, we introduce three typical methods.

① Change from the Toolbar

Click the icon for the desired chart type on the MT4 toolbar to switch.

② Change from the Menu Bar

From the "Chart" menu, select the chart type you want to display to switch.

③ Change from the Chart Properties Screen

Right-click on the chart and select "Properties" from the menu that appears.

Then, at the top-right of the Properties screen, select the chart type and click "OK" to switch.
