How to Modify or Cancel Pending Orders on MT5 (Android)

On MT5 (MetaTrader 5), you can modify items such as the price and expiration of a limit or stop pending order. You can also cancel a limit or stop pending order outright.

There are two main methods:

Method 1: Modify or Cancel from the "Trade" Screen

Modifying a pending order from the Trade screen

① On the "Trade" screen, press and hold the order you want to modify.
② Select "Modify order" from the menu.

Alternatively, swipe left and tap the second icon.

③ Enter your changes in fields such as "SL" and "TP".
④ Tap the "Modify" button to complete the change to the pending order.

Cancelling a pending order from the Trade screen

① On the "Trade" screen, press and hold the order you want to cancel.
② Select "Delete order" from the menu. A confirmation window appears; tap "Delete" to finish.

Method 2: Modify or Cancel from the "Chart" Screen

Modifying a pending order from the Chart screen

① Tap the price line on the chart.
② Drag the price line.
③ Tap the arrow button on the right.

You will be taken to the order modification screen again. Check or adjust the settings here, and once confirmed, tap the "Modify" button to complete the change.

Cancelling a pending order from the Chart screen

① Tap the price line on the chart.
② Tap "Delete" on the left.

③ Tap "Delete" to finish.
