MT5 (iOS) How to Modify and Close Positions from the Trade Screen

Tapping on the 'Trade' menu at the bottom of the screen displays current open positions and pending orders (new limit and stop orders). You can modify or close positions directly from here.

Modifying a Position

To modify a position, tap on the position you want to change within the 'Trade' screen and select 'Modify Position' from the menu that appears.

Enter the changes you wish to make (such as stop loss or take profit levels) in the order screen and tap 'Modify'.

Closing a Position

To close a position, tap the position you want to settle in the 'Trade' screen and select 'Close Position' from the menu that appears.

At the order screen, when you're ready to close, tap the button 'Close *** by Market' to place a settlement order.
