How to Fix No Chart Display but Symbol Name Shows on MT5 (Mac)
Reason Why Only the Symbol Name Appears on the Chart Screen
If only the symbol name is displayed on the chart screen in MT5, it indicates that there is no data for the symbol specified on the chart.
This error mainly occurs when switching trading accounts, and the symbol specified on the chart does not exist in the newly switched account.
To resolve this error, reconfigure the symbol on the chart.
How to Reconfigure the Symbol
Hover over the symbol name displayed in the Market Watch, then drag and drop the symbol name onto the chart.
Once reconfiguration is complete, the chart will be displayed.
