The Market Watch in MT5 consists of the following four tabs:
This tab displays each symbol's price, change rate, etc. In MT5, you can also open new charts or change the symbol on the chart from here.

Shows detailed price information for the selected symbol, including bid, ask, high, and low prices.

Displays the trading panel for each symbol, where one-click orders can be placed.

Displays a tick chart for the selected symbol, useful for examining the most recent minute price movements.

Here, we primarily introduce how to configure the basic settings of the Market Watch, focusing on the 'Symbols' tab.
You can add or remove symbols from the Market Watch as needed. Removing unnecessary symbols can also reduce the load on your PC, so adjust as needed.
There are multiple ways to add or remove symbols, but here we guide you through three common methods:
Click the 'Click to Add' at the bottom of the displayed symbols, enter the symbol name in the input field that appears, and you can add it.

Right-click on the Market Watch, select 'Symbols' from the menu.

In the 'Symbols' dialog, selecting a category on the left will display symbols on the right. You can select any symbol you want to show or hide by clicking the 'Show symbol' or 'Hide symbol' buttons below. You can also double-click on the symbol name to toggle its visibility. A yellow dollar mark icon next to the symbol name indicates it is displayed, gray indicates it is hidden.

Right-click on the symbol you wish to hide in the Market Watch, and select 'Hide' from the menu that appears. Additionally, selecting 'Show All' from the right-click menu will display all available symbols, while 'Hide All' will hide all except those in use in charts.

You can display various items in the Market Watch 'Symbols' tab, such as the bid, ask, high, low, change rate, and spread. To adjust, right-click on the Market Watch, and check the items you wish to display in the display column. Note that some items may not be displayable if data is not available.

You can sort the order of symbol names by clicking on the header of the displayed items. To remove sorting, right-click on the Market Watch and select 'Reset' from the 'Sort' option in the menu.

If not sorted (sorting must be removed if active), you can change the display order by dragging and dropping symbol names up or down in the Market Watch.
