How to toggle the auto-scroll feature in MT5 (Windows)

MT5 charts include an auto-scroll feature.

The auto-scroll feature automatically scrolls the chart so that the most recent data is displayed at the right edge of the chart.

Although it’s a convenient feature, it can be obstructive when you want to view past data, so you need to be able to switch it on and off as needed.

Toggling the Chart’s Auto-Scroll Feature

The auto-scroll feature can primarily be toggled on and off in two ways.

By clicking the auto-scroll icon on the toolbar, you can toggle the chart's auto-scroll feature on and off.

By clicking 'Auto Scroll' under the 'Chart' menu in MT5, you can toggle the auto-scroll feature on and off.

By right-clicking on the chart and selecting 'Auto Scroll' from the menu that appears, you can toggle the auto-scroll feature on and off.
