Troubleshooting Chart Display Errors on MT5 (Windows)

Reasons for Symbol Name Only Display on Chart Screen

If only the symbol name is displayed on the MT5 chart screen and the chart itself is not displayed, it indicates that there is no data for the specified symbol on the chart.

This error mainly occurs when switching trading accounts, where the specified symbol on the chart does not exist in the switched account.

To resolve this error, reconfigure the symbol on the chart.

How to Reconfigure Symbol

Hover over the symbol name displayed on the Market Watch, then drag and drop the symbol name onto the chart.

Once the reconfiguration is complete, the chart will be displayed.
