How to Troubleshoot MT5 Login Issues

When you successfully log into your MT5 account, a green antenna icon will appear at the bottom right of MT5. If a red "no entry" mark is displayed, it indicates that the login has failed.

If you are unable to log in, trying the following steps may help resolve the issue.

1.Check your login information

2.Verify the account validity

3.Confirm the correct version of MT5

4.Check your network environment

1. Verify Login Information (Login ID, Password, Server Name)

The most common reason for login failure is incorrect login information.

For a live account, please check the login information sent via email when you opened the account (Subject: [Important] Titan FX: MT5 Account Login Information).

For a demo account, please reconfirm the login information displayed when you created the demo account.

Confirm Password

Here are some commonly confused characters. Please ensure there are no mistakes.
We recommend copying and pasting to avoid input errors.

・Number "1", uppercase letter "I", lowercase letter "l"
・Number "0", uppercase letter "O", lowercase letter "o"
・Number "2", uppercase letter "Z", lowercase letter "z"
・Number "6", lowercase letter "b"

Resetting Your Password (For Live Accounts)

If you have forgotten your password for a live account, you can reset it within the Client Cabinet.

Follow these steps to reset your password:
① Log into the Client Cabinet.
② On the Dashboard page, click on "Account Information" next to your trading account number.

③ In the popup, click "Reset MT4 Password".

④ Enter your desired password in the "MT4 Password" field and click "Reset MT4 Password".

Confirm Server

The server selection is another common area of error. Please confirm that you are selecting the correct server as per your login information.

If you cannot find the appropriate server name in the server selection dropdown during login, try the following steps:

① Click "Open an Account" from "File" at the top left of the MT5 screen.
② In the dialog box that appears, enter "titan" in the search field at the top and click "Find Company".
Once "Titan FX Limited" is displayed, click "Cancel".

③ After completing the above, other servers should become available for selection when you attempt to log in to your trading account.

2. Verify Account Validity

Check If the Account Has Been Deactivated

A Titan FX live account will be automatically deactivated if it has not been logged into for 365 days and has no open positions, pending orders, or balance.
You can check if your account has been deactivated in the Client Cabinet. If "Deactivated" is displayed next to your account number, the account is no longer active.

Deactivated accounts cannot be reactivated. Please open a new account from the "Open Additional Account" button within the Client Cabinet.

The free demo account is valid for 30 days from the last login.
Once a demo account has expired, it cannot be reactivated. Please create a new demo account on MT4.

Confirm It Is an MT5 Account

You can only log in to an MT5 account using MT5. You cannot log in with an MT4 account, so please ensure you are using the correct account.

You can check the account type in the Client Cabinet or similar.

3. Confirm the Version of MT5

Attempting to log in from another company's MT5 may result in a failed login. Be sure to log in using the MT5 downloaded from Titan FX.

4. Check Network Environment

If there is a problem with your network environment, you may not be able to log in to MT5.
Network issues may be caused by your internet connection or system problems on the Titan FX side.

Please check if you can access the internet (e.g., browsing websites) without any issues. If there are no problems, please contact the support team.
We will provide you with the latest system status information.
