In MT5, you can close your positions at market price at any time during trading hours. The method for market closure varies slightly depending on whether one-click trading is enabled.
If one-click trading is set up, you can close positions primarily through the following methods:
・Close from the Toolbox
・Close from the Chart
Click the '×' button at the right end of the position in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox to close it.

Right-click on the position you want to close in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox and select 'Close Position'.

Right-click on the line that represents the position or closing order on the chart, and select 'Close' from the menu that appears.

If one-click trading is not enabled, closures are conducted through the Position Window. The Position Window can be displayed primarily in the following ways:
・From the Toolbox
・From the Chart
Click the '×' button at the right end of the position you want to close in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox.

Right-click on the position you want to close in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox and select 'Close Position'.

Right-click on the line representing the position or closing order on the chart and select 'Close' from the menu that appears.

Click the yellow market close button in the displayed Position Window to complete the closure.

In MT5, you can also partially close open positions. This is mainly done from the Terminal.
Double-click on the position you wish to partially close in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox.

Change the volume in the displayed Position Window to the lot size you wish to close, and click the yellow market close button to execute the partial closure.

When one-click trading is enabled, you can perform bulk operations on held positions or orders. For instance, you can close all positions at once or just those that are at a loss.
Right-click on the position you want to close in the 'Trade' tab of the Toolbox, select the desired operation from the 'Bulk Operation' options in the menu that appears. Bulk operations include the following options:
- 'Close All Positions': Closes all held positions.
- 'Close Profitable Positions': Closes only those positions that are in profit.
- 'Close Losing Positions': Closes only those positions that are at a loss.
- 'Close Positions in (Specific Instrument)': Closes all positions in that specific instrument.
- 'Close Buy (or Sell) Positions in (Specific Instrument)': Closes all buy or sell positions in that specific instrument.
- 'Settlement in (Specific Instrument)': Not available.
