Aroon is an indicator that displays two lines called Aroon Up and Aroon Down on the sub-chart for analysis.
Aroon Up indicates how recently the period's highest price was reached, while Aroon Down shows how recently the period's lowest price was. Both are scaled from 1 to 100, where higher values indicate recent occurrence and lower values suggest distance from these points.

When Aroon Up continues to stick upwards, it suggests a continuing upward trend as new highs are being made within the period, while Aroon Down sticking upwards indicates a downward trend as new lows are being made.

Thanks to its multi-timeframe capability, this indicator can display Aroon for higher timeframe charts. For example, you can display the Aroon from an hourly chart on a five-minute chart. This allows for analysis of short-term price movements while considering the long-term price direction.
