MT5 features a crosshair mode, which allows you to display the time and price at the cursor's position, and measure the number of candlesticks and point values.

Click the crosshair icon in the toolbar to switch the cursor to crosshair mode.
You can also switch to crosshair mode by pressing 'Ctrl' and 'F' on your keyboard.
When you move the cursor in crosshair mode on the chart, the price and time at the cursor's position are displayed on the scale part.
This is valuable when analyzing past price movements to verify durations and price levels.
While in crosshair mode, clicking and dragging on the chart will display the number of candlesticks, the point values, and the ending price from the starting point to the endpoint of the drag.
This function is handy for verifying durations and price ranges.
