We will guide you on how to open a new chart in MT5, how to close a chart, and how to reopen a chart that has been closed.
There are several ways to open a new chart. Here, we will introduce four typical methods.
Select "New Chart" from the "File" menu in MT5, and choose the instrument you want to display.
Click the new chart icon at the left end of the toolbar and select the instrument you want to display.
Right-click on the desired instrument in the Market Watch and select "Chart Window".
Drag and drop from the desired instrument name in the Market Watch to the empty chart area.
To close an unwanted chart, click the '×' button at the top right of the chart.
Select the chart you want to reopen from "Open Deleted" in the "File" menu of MT5.
