The MT4 chart has an auto-scroll feature.
The auto-scroll feature automatically scrolls the chart to display the latest data on the right edge of the chart.
While it’s a convenient feature, it can be obstructive when you want to view past data, so you need to be able to switch it on and off as needed.
You can toggle the chart’s auto-scroll feature on and off primarily in two ways.
By clicking the auto-scroll icon in the toolbar, you can toggle the chart's auto-scroll feature on and off.
Clicking 'Auto Scroll' in the 'Charts' menu of MT4 allows you to toggle the chart's auto-scroll feature on and off.
