MT4 charts feature an auto-scroll function.
The auto-scroll function automatically scrolls to ensure the most recent chart data is visible at the right edge of the chart.
While useful, this function can be intrusive when reviewing past chart data, so it's necessary to toggle it on and off as needed.
You can toggle the auto-scroll function on and off primarily in the following two ways:
Click the auto-scroll icon in the toolbar to toggle the auto-scroll function on and off.
Click 'Auto Scroll' under the 'Charts' menu in MT4 to toggle the auto-scroll function on and off.
