Methods for Toggling the Auto-Scroll Function in MT5 (Mac)
MT5 charts feature an auto-scroll function.
The auto-scroll function automatically scrolls to ensure the most recent chart data is visible at the right edge of the chart.
While useful, this function can be intrusive when reviewing past chart data, so it's necessary to toggle it on and off as needed.
How to Toggle the Auto-Scroll Function On and Off
You can toggle the auto-scroll function on and off primarily in the following three ways:
① Toggle from the Toolbar
Click the auto-scroll icon in the toolbar to toggle the auto-scroll function on and off.
② Toggle from the Menu
Click 'Auto Scroll' under the 'Chart' menu in MT5 to toggle the auto-scroll function on and off.
③ Right-click on the Chart and Toggle
Right-click on the chart, and from the menu that appears, click 'Auto Scroll' to toggle the auto-scroll function on and off.
