In MT4 charts, you can save the settings such as chart colors and indicators as a "template chart" and apply them to other charts. Here, we will guide you on how to use this template chart feature.
Prepare the chart with the settings (such as colors and indicators) you want to save, select that chart, and begin saving the settings using one of the following methods.
Select "Save as Template" from "Templates" under the "Charts" menu.

Click the "Chart Template" icon in the toolbar, then select "Save as Template" from the menu that appears.

Right-click on the chart, and select "Save as Template" from the "Templates" menu that appears.

Next, the "Save As" dialog will appear, where you can specify a file name and save the template.

To apply a saved template chart to a new chart, use one of the following methods.
Select the template name you want to apply from the "Templates" under the "Charts" menu.

Click the "Chart Template" icon in the toolbar, then select the template name you want to apply from the menu.

Right-click on the chart, and select the template name you want to apply from the "Templates" menu that appears.

To delete a saved template chart, use one of the following methods.
Select the template name you want to delete from "Delete Template" under the "Templates" in the "Charts" menu.

Click the "Chart Template" icon in the toolbar, then select the template name you want to delete from "Delete Template" in the menu.

Right-click on the chart, and select the template name you want to delete from "Delete Template" in the "Template" menu.

In MT4, you can load and use templates created on another PC or by someone else.
To display the "Open" dialog and select the template file you want to load, use one of the following methods.
Select "Load Template" from "Templates" under the "Charts" menu.

Click the "Chart Template" icon in the toolbar, then select "Load Template" from the menu.

Right-click on the chart, and select "Load Template" from the "Templates" menu that appears.
